"We had a lovely stay. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Our loft room, though a bit difficult to get up and down the staircase (definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues), was cosy and clean. The breakfast was great and swimming pool also very refreshing in the heat commonly experienced in Franschoek. Very centrally located in town, so it was also a convenient location with easy parking"

"We stayed two nights in a ground floor room with some outside space. room very spacious, aircon and well decorated. Lovely to have the pool which was quiet and lovely to cool off. Guest house is a good 10mins walk to the main street but surrounding area very quiet. Breakfast as plentiful. Staff extremely friendly. I would definitely return!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Residence Vive La Vie. We were warmly greeted upon our early arrival and were very happy that they were able to have our room ready (after a very long flight). Our cottage was spacious and well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town, very convenient. The breakfast was phenomenal, fresh cut fruit and made to order dishes prepared by some talented chefs every day. Highly recommend!"

"One Swedish and one Irish couple decided to find a secure nice property for 30 days at our first visit to SA with access to golf, wine etc. The place we found was perfect and the house lived up to all our expectations. The only minor mark is that we would prefer if the Kitchen equipment was of a slightly better quality and matched the rest of this quality home. We appreciated the backup system in the house that helped us to finish the late movie nights even when we had power cuts."
