"Overall, for the price, this was a good place to stay. It seemed like many of the units are rented out long term for housing, so that gave it a feel of a "cheap motel." My key was deactivated on the second night and the guy at the front desk did not check my ID, just asked me to verify my name."

"The Ashland Springs Hotel is always a delight. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The adjacent restaurant, Larks, has delicious dinner options and the breakfast was perfect. "

"Rooms could use some updating. Fireplace needed cleaning. Jetted tub was very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Still a great mountain lodge feel though. "

"A very nice facility with a great staff. The bed and the Hot shower were lovely after a long travel day. I found my room very clean and inviting with a coffee/tea pot, nice towels and great darkening window shades. While I noticed the traffic noise early in the evening I had a peaceful night. I appreciated a safe and secure parking lot, although the property entrance was a little tricky, perhaps it was my maps. The facility is close to a couple fast food eateries and a grocery store which was walkable and very convenient through the rear parking lot. Great stay, would stay again."
