"This home offers a perfect getaway for a family, with or without pets. Check-in was easy, communication was excellent,and the home was warm, clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens are provided. I highly recommend and hope to return soon. "

"Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back...

"I like the location and the beautiful woods outside on the back balcony. However, the decor and furniture look like it came from a museum the 80s. Also, I was unlucky enough to be on the lower unit of the two and had very noisy neighbors, which is not too good with a wooden floor and also a connecting door that I had to put cushions up against deaden their noise. This is not the hotels fault I understand that, but beware if you get a unit that’s on the lower floor of the villas. "

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The Lodge feels like a mountain lodge from the 40s or 50s that has been transported to modern times with all the modern amenities and comforts you’d expect from a modern upscale hotel. The rooms are well appointed, mattresses thick and comfortable and even really good pillows. Great views of the lake as well throughout. Quiet. The on sight restaurant, Appalachia, has some of the best food you’ll have on Lake Lure. Great views again overlooking the lake. A well...
