"Lakefront Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our stopover before heading to Milford Sound. The room was well equipped and clean. Loved the picnic tables provided by each room as well…perfect for morning tea or evening takeaway! The location was great as well with easy access to the lakefront walking/biking path and town. Would stay here again when stopping over in Te Anau!"

"Lots of personal care by owner and this made the stay enjoyable and memorable. I had a free upgrade to the deluxe room too! "I can’t say enough good things about Shakespeare House! We stayed here after coming to Te Anau late from the Milford Sound area. With notice, the owners made arrangements for us to check in after-hours. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were so kind and gave us some great tips for what to see and do during the next leg of our journey. Highly recommend this B&B! "
