"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"This beautiful log cabin is perched in the hills where the deck catches the mountain breezes. Bring binoculars for birdwatching! We lived on that deck! The air conditioning is once for sleeping, and the kitchen is small but functional. The drive up to the cabin from the main house is very steep, but we made it up without 4 wheel drive since I am used to driving up hills in snow and ice! If you are not, rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. "Le ménage n était pas fait, le plancher collait, l evier de sdb avait encore du dentifrice sec, tous les équipements de cuisine étaient sales. "The house is great and well equipped. We stayed for a month and all we could need was there. Foldable chairs on the property for the beach as well as pool floaties. The location is up quite a large hill from the beach and has stairs to the pool so not appropriate for someone with a mobility issue. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance.Owner and property manager are great and respond immediately. "

"The house was perfect and was very welcoming and had all the necessities needed. The rooms are located on the second floor with a balcony which allowed you to see the sunrise and sunset as well as watch the local fishermen coming in and count with their catches for sale. The dark sand and warm water was welcoming with a lot of wildlife to see and enjoy. The people are very friendly and patient with tourists and all the food was amazing. Perfect location close enough to still enjoy Manuel Antonio...
