"This property is spotless and beautiful. It feels very secluded, but is an easy, beautiful drive into Ely. The view is incredible from everywhere in the house and this part of the Burntside Lake is sparsely populated. We were here in November so no snow and now swimming, and yet it was so peaceful and lovely. We enjoyed the sauna and the Adirondack chairs very much! Also loved the fireplace, the comfy furniture and beds and the unique and giant dining room table. The hosts were so kind and helpful - they truly above and beyond and we were grateful for them! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. "

"Worked out great for my stay in Ely. Just outside town in a wooded setting - so a nice balance between environment and convenience. Price was very reasonable. I was not clear that there are other attached apartment properties on the site - was only drawback. But hardly even heard (never saw them) the others so no big deal in the end. If headed xc skiing or mtn biking - house is on the entrance road to Hidden Valley so incredibly easy access. "

"Staying at Jeff's cabin was nothing short but great! It's cozy and rustic—but with a bath, running water, heat, and a kitchen. Perfect to bring kids and get them to enjoy the outdoors when it gets to cold for rent camping. (My 7 and 4 y.o. heard the wolves howl and caught a 30 inch Northern right off the dock.) Jeff is a great host who accommodates to all your needs. We'll definitely be back!"
