"We came up to enjoy a nice quiet weekend away and this place delivered. It snowed all day Saturday adding to the beauty of this place. Enjoyed some nice hikes including a beautiful one under the stars. If you don’t mind a saw dust potty and cooking outside (which we don’t) this place is for you. Cabin was very clean and comfy and warm!"

If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. "Over all the property was exactly as expected. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped. The arcade games were a big hit with the kids. Our only complaint is that the lower level and the two main floor bedrooms were very cold. Some rooms only reaching around 60 degrees, sometimes only in the 50’s. Super cold weekend so maybe.this is to be expected. Maybe some space heaters?? Overall we loved the house!"

"We had a super relaxing time at Northwind Lodge. Our cabin was right on the water and very private. The allowed use of the pontoon and the kayaks/canoes was a nice touch. This is a very vintage and laid back experience which is exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again."
