The view is incredible from everywhere in the house and this part of the Burntside Lake is sparsely populated. "We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit. Nice room outside for yard games and sitting by the fire. "

"Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need....

"….and that’s exactly what we did! Our stay was better than hoped in celebrating my birthday. My fiance took me to a place he described as majestic and that it is. We could have stayed in town but the true experience of Ely was here. The sunrise and sunset out our window was magnificent! Living of the needs in life made it that more memorable. We will definitely be heading North again!"

"We loved our stay in Ely. The property is new, well equipped and setup nicely to handle large groups (we were 8 adults and one infant). Marcus and Abby were very accessible and addressed the few minor requests we had proactively (with follow up to make sure we were happy with the results). If we can get the crew together again next year - we will definitely come back to the Ely Cabin. "

"It was the perfect property and location for a quick 3-day getaway from the Twin Cities to clear the mind and relax. The house was the ideal size, isolated enough but close enough to Ely or Tower if we needed anything. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing, long weekend.
