"We had a delightful stay at the hotel. Each and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The facilities are good and the hotel is beautiful and really well maintained. The cost reflects the high standards. There is a pleasant outdoor area and rooftop bar. The Vedado area is far less intense than La Havana Vieja and the hotel is certainly a walkable distance from many of the interesting sights, though in the searing heat, we'd advise a taxi to La Havana Vieja."

My room was not only chic with an amazing terrace where one can enjoy a cocktail or morning coffee. The location is perfect for exploring the city, within walking distance from many landmarks such as the Colon cemetery and hotel Nacional. The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring i had a memorable stay. While Havana has an electricity crises, La Distancia’s energy plant kicked in without a hitch. I highly recommend La Distancia for a wonderful stay in the neighborhood of Havana. "
