A wonderful stay in this beautiful spotless hotel. However what made it was the staff- so friendly, helpful and hospitable. From the moment we arrived with transfer from the airport to advice on beautiful restaurants, making reservations and providing advice on where to visit in the city. It was my birthday the day after we checked out however I arrived at breakfast to balloons and a cake on the table. Highly recommend this hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the El Candil hotel in Havana. The hotel is spotlessly clean, wonderfully decorated and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Reception and general help by Rosabel & Guiomar is priceless, backed up by Nestor at night, all brilliant guys. The rest of the staff are also lovely, helpful and attentive too. Roof top bar is serves great food and drinks, bar and food staff again - super. All in all we would thoroughly recommend the hotel as your Havana base. David & Alison from London

Our stay was almost perfect, the location in the middle of Vedado is great, the hotels itself has a special style and atmosphere from old days of Havana that transports you years in the past. The staff was helpful and accommodating (we asked for a late checkout). The room was clean and well decorated. The only issue was the lack of WiFi signal in our room, to get some signal we had to stick by the reception. If I can suggest anything, it would be to get a better coverage inside the hotel.

My wife and i travel a lot, and this Is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff is simply the best! The boutique style, intimate atmosphere and central location to 5 star dining and first class live entertainment, adds to its charm. Very clean. Private and quiet common areas. The roof top patio is fully facilitated including bar, big screen TV’s and lounge areas. You can listen to live music echoing throughout the area from the restaurant roof top patio one block away! The food here was excellent too!We would like to shout out to the concierges, Yanetxy, Guiomar, and Rosabel who gave great recommendations, service and assistance with all our needs. We were treated like family here! The hotel owner is lucky to have them! We will be coming back here again for sure. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

I had an amazing stay at El Candil Boutique Hotel! The room was exceptionally spacious and spotless, offering a comfortable and luxurious feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our entire stay even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were excellent, and the fact that they accept card payments made everything so convenient. We had a great experience at El Candil, beautiful property and very clean. Yanetxi and Rosabel were extremely helpful to arrange transportation, tours to explore the city and to provide us with tips on things to do or things to avoid. The food was very good comparing to what is available around the area. We definitely recommend El Candil as we enjoyed our stay with them.

El Candil is a really special place. The staff are wonderful, professional people, and look out for you. The property is pristine, comfortable, and (important for me) quiet. The restaurant serves really good food and you are within walking distance of tasty paladares. If you want to go into Havana, taxis are just a call away. The staff are linked up to a great network of tour guides who can take you wherever. I had such a great stay and will absolutely come back. Thank you, gracias to the brilliant team of people at El Candil.

Absolutely loved this privately owned hotel! The staff was super friendly and recommended places to eat and stuff to do. It was the main reason why I booked this spot. They were easy to get ahold of, made sure we had a ride to and from the airport and anything we did! Definitely would stay here again.

It was a beautiful restored mansion. The main problem was the bed - it was absolutely awful. I struggled for 2 days to sleep properly. The staff, Yanexy and Rosabel found a way to make it more comfortable. The wifi was terrible here. They need to fix it. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

Yanxtey went above and beyond with her excellent costumer service, honestly all the staff was great and wonderful. The hotel was very clean and the room was big and nice . The only downside is the internet which is really bad , so basically no internt at my room I had to go in certain area at the lobby to get some signal . The hotel is away from only havan like 10 miuntes drive. Definitely I will be back if they work on the internet.
