"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "One stop over on-route to Alton Towers. Stayed in the Twin Room and was perfect. Nice clean bedding, tea/coffee, small fridge to keep the fresh milk in. Private bathroom with shower. Full English for breakfast, tastey food from thr local farm shop. Great host too. Would 100% recommend!"

"Not easy to find,since no street-number supplied until asked for. Expected en-suite - bathroom shared (between 2 rooms) and quite a distance from the bedroom. Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet."

"Mould in bathroom also ion communal kitchen & possibly on render on outside wall No spoon or cups. The person in next room was using the landing as a shoe storage area. The person did not want to know about the mould & wanted me to cancel staying on a bank holiday weekend. With health issues I would have preferred to not to stay at all. The property could do with some maintenance."
