"Ideal family base for our show at Utilita Arena and shopping at Metro Centre. 10-15 mins away by car. Cosy wee house at decent price. Would definitely book here again for myself, partner and 3 kids. "

"The house is clean in the main areas that you need i.e. clean sheets and towels. However, it needs a good deep clean between the gaps of the couch, 'stuff' under the foot stool when moved, mold near the hand basin, bubbling above shower, dishes/cutlery needing a good wash. A fan in summer would have been helpful and had to chase the host for check-in details. Photos are better than what is actually is and could do with some maintenance and tlc."

"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. "Water was leaking in two of the three rooms from the ceiling onto the beds and along the walls of the rooms. We were able to use only one of the three rooms. Our host informed us of the problem per e-mail at about 7PM but we were unaware of that message as we were driving. Upon late arrival at about 11:00PM we were informed of a leak in one of the rooms but soon discovered that water was dripping onto the bed in the second bedroom. "Good value, very modern & clean, bathroom large. Bed & pillows a bit hard but preferences differ, one bedside cabinet had drawer missing & framed picture on wall stained with what looked like red paint, bathroom door creaked loudly. Little things but not to be put off as excellent. Reception staff lovely, friendly, efficient. Appreciated complimentary croissants & hot drinks in reception area. Thanks."

"Noisy heating system and water taps , not a quiet building but a fair price. Comfortable beds and clean kitchen utensils and crockery , very good location for our needs. Limited parking spaces just next door at Holiday Inn "

"Fantastic customer service! Brian went above and beyond the expected. Very friendly and informative. He made by partner's daughter beam with happiness with the sweet treats and his wonderful magic show! Yana on reception was also brilliant. They both deserve a special mention."

"Lovely stay, but when staying on the ground floor really noisy can hear every conversation and laughter as people come in from a night out so we didn’t sleep well. I actually forgot from last time and should have asked for a room upstairs as we needed to sleep and leave to drive out early. "

"Excellent modern hotel in the centre of Newcastle and 2 mins from the station. Stayed in a family room which was spacious and had a bunk bed which the kids loved. Room was new, spacious and quiet. Excellent value for money. "
