"Had a lovely stay for one night at the Falstaff. Very historic inn dating back to the 16th Century. Room lovely and clean with comfortable bed. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly."

Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "We arrived at 16.30 checkin was quick and i went to the room my husband went to make a reservation for dinner.The room was very tastefully decorated but no heating on,as it was Febuary it would have been nice to walk into a warm room.We were only able to book for 21.00 which was far too late when we had lunch at 13.00.We were not able to order our choice on the menu as they had sold out sausage and mash and fish and chips nothing special maybe defrost a few more.
