This is a wonderful Kentish Inn. The log fire, the cozy seating and the food and drinks on offer make this out of the way place a secret oasis. The rooms are excellent, clean, warm and all the facilities you expect. And absolute value for money. And did I mention the food? Fantastic menu, great service and worth every penny. Fantastic place, can’t recommend it highly enough!

We arrived at the property earlier than the booking time and were given access to our room straight away. There was plenty of parking. All the staff were very helpful and attentive.

2 night working trip solo. A lovely old pub with olde world charm. You really couldn't find a pub more quintessentially English. Rooms lovely and warm with spacious bathroom (Clover, block 4). Restaurant also very good but £11 for a glass of wine is pushing it a bit. Have the prawns starter and sausage and mash to get the best value out of it.
