"Myself, my husband and my 2 year old stayed here and absolutely loved it! We booked the night before we were going to go on a whim and Helen was so accommodating which was amazing. "We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"

"This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. "Angel was a great host, only a whatsapp away and was very responsive. The cottage is super cool, with custom wood work surfaces and really well designed bathrooms. We didn't use the hot tub as it was heaving with rain but that would have been a really nice relaxing time if the weather was better. Loads of on street parking just outside made it easier and it's walking distance to a really nice pub. Would recommend :)"
