"Staff were wonderful, the hot tub of mineral water was superb, the pool a bit chilly but delightful. Their taco Tuesday is not to be missed. And the beach is gorgeous and clean, with nice lounging furniture. The only odd note is the parts of the property that are in a state of decay— a convention center, another pool and hot tub that are decommissioned."

"If you want to stay in Los Cabo but do not want to spend $700 a night to stay at an all inclusive this place is GREAT. Very clean, pool is chilly but made for a nice place to sit outside. 1500' foot walk to a wonderfully huge beach and many great restaurants within 1 block. Also the very charming downtown shopping/restaurants are about a 20 min safe walk. Staff was helpful in getting an uber for us."

"The area of the hotel is perfect. It’s not far from downtown José . The staff were helpful. The area is in the hotel zone and as a woman I felt safe walking around in the night. Affordable food options in the area. My only complain was my shower had black ( looks like mold) around the door. The rooms give an older hotel look. Look like the picture. I would recommend staying if you are on a budget in Cabo "

"Rancho BV is so wonderful! It is one of the oldest properties in Baja! Staff is so kind and helpful — Arturo is MVP! He always had answers to any questions we had, even helped us secure a car to drive around town (his own!). The property is “tired” but very clean and well kept. The “coffee time” restaurant was super cute and delicious (we only had coffee and breakfast, but saw others dining and it looked wonderful, too). The pool and bar is literally right on the beach, so even if the ocean was too chilly to swim you could still enjoy the beach and ocean view from poolside. Location is perfect — very secluded, but only about a 4-5min drive into Los Barriles. Overall, an excellent spot to visit and relax! Thank you Rancho staff for a wonderful trip! 😊 "

"This property is simply beautiful. It is remote, so if party life, crowds and noise is what you’re looking for, this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking to relax in a quiet, beautiful setting and enjoy the ocean, great attentive staff, wonderful food, and a beautiful area on the coast of the Sea of Cortez, you won’t be disappointed. Personable, fun staff go above and beyond to take care of you and make sure you’re comfortable. You’ll feel like family during your stay and will be sad to say goodbye! 5 stars! A big thank you to Ernesto, Miquel, Rosie, Bella, Zayra, and Juan for all your hard work to insure our vacation was wonderful and one we’ll always remember! "
