"Overall impression of this property is: if you are backpacking or travelling on the cheap, this property would be well suited for you IF it was listed at half the price. You get one room (no refrigerator, the kitchen cupboards were empty (no utensils, pots/pans, dishes), no beach chairs, one lanai chair, yes a/c) and one bathroom (no hot water in shower). We got our key on Day 4. It needed a deep clean before we got there. We booked this property at least 6 months in advance, there was enough...

"We enjoyed our time in the unit. The unit is in very good condition. Great location looking out over pool and the sea of Cortez. Christine the manager was great at responding to a leak we found in bathroom. Resolved it quickly!! Communication between me and the owner and property manager was excellent! The description says that unit has a sofa bed, but it was an actual king or queen size bed plus the murphy bed. The balcony was awesome!! Great size for 2 to 4 people. Spacious too!"

"I would highly recommend staying with Steve & Marie on your next visit to Los Barriles. The location is ideally located right on a very nice quiet beach and is 15 minutes walking distance to several good restaurants. "Both Tim & Sandra were wonderful! They helped us with transportation and showed us around town before we picked up our ATV. They promptly responded. They provided us with many extras that we did not expect. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay with them again. The location was right in the middle of everything & literally by the beach."

We made it fine but it would have been valuable to know that there was a more improved road available (That didn’t show up as an option on Google Maps). "Gorgeous place to get away from it all, and we loved the kayaks! Definitely bring water shoes for the rocky shoreline. A/C in the bedroom works great, but be prepared to acclimate to the heat and enjoy the ocean breeze. A fan for the house or patio would be be a nice addition, but otherwise everything was wonderful! Jonatan, the property manager was super responsive and helpful, and we loved having the kitchen and grill to cook and enjoy meals to the sounds of the waves. "
