"My wife and I spent 10 days here in early February as we had always wanted to be on the beach in winter! We saw humpback whales everyday from the beach including mothers with calves and competing males. One day one of them swam parallel to the beach so close that they nearly rode the breaking wave! The large swimming pool is not heated. The beach is red and black flagged all the time (of course this is true throughout most of Cabo. The food here is very good and the inside and pool side bars offer great service. The water pressure in the shower is wonderful. Many Canadians and some Americans (who live in the northern tier of states) visit this resort every year in the winter and have been doing so for many many years. They create a very warm and welcoming family feel to all. The only negative (and this is a big one) the beds are very hard bed springs which are supplemented by a very thin egg crate foam topper (which is of almost no value). This creates far less than ideal sleeping conditions. In talking with many other guests we found this to be true in most if not all rooms."

"This listing was La Paz and it is NO WHERE near La Paz. It is up the coast from Los Barriles. Very remote, quiet and peaceful. Great place to step away from the world."

"Fabulous stay. The pool, hot tub, bathrooms and ocean, yes ocean, are all heated by natural hot springs. The ocean part is an experience. You walk to the waters edge, sit in the sand and dig a hole with your hands and feet about a foot deep and hot water comes up. Awesome. Dinner and breakfast fantastic. The property is older, everything else makes up for this charming friendly easy resort. Will return. "

"Pretty solid basic hotel. Decent free breakfast, just head to the office for a ticket before you go. Ac works great, wifi was fast. Pool is good with covered seating, a little chilly in the winter perhaps. My second stay in three months, so that must tell you something. "
