"We had a really lovely stay over 4 nights. John made us feel as if we were at home and with a friend. Although the room we had was not one of the ensuite rooms, we had a dedicated bathroom to ourselves, and we knew it would be like that when we chose the room and the rate. There was also a guest kitchen which was well equipped."

Having the pool tables (free to backpackers, 1/2 price on Fri/Sat) downstairs - fun to play a few games there with people I met in the backpackers' kitchen.
