"Just back from a stay at the Amwaj Rotana. Nice hotel that is exactly as it looks in publicity photographs. Location is good and very convenient for the beach. Very easy to get places by taxi. Buffet breakfast is very good and staff are attentive and very friendly. All staff were unfailingly helpful and seem genuine in their friendly manner. Very happy to recommend the hotel to all."

"The location is fabulous. It is right on the Marina walk path and the views from the balconies are of the Marina and sea. The service staff was a disappointment this stay, and we have stayed here several times. Housekeeping was not consistent and the breakfast staff were not as friendly as in the past."
