"unfortunately, Hotels did not inform us of the low clearance for the hotel parking garage. Consequently, we had to park a block away and walk in the cold and dark to reach the hotel entrance. The garage has a 6' 5" clearance and we were just one inch too tall. Be blame Hotels for this oversight."

"The place has a relatively low score overall, but I think it deserves a bit higher score because most of the reviews probably come from people expecting a 5 star hotel on a 2 star budget. Reno isn't as cheap as it once was, and for the area, this is still a good deal. I got a room with a jetted tub for only a few bucks more, which is real nice after a day of skiing. "We loved this hotel! They were so accommodating to us with our dog, even gave us a good bag for him. My ONLY complaint about our stay was the staff at Cafe Whitney. They seem miserable and are so rude! "
