"Six of us stayed one night. Great location with deck overlooking the ocean. Very good amenities. Murphy bed was comfortable. A/C is not automatic so you have to request it in advance (and pay extra). We just used fans and it was a little warm but ok. Would stay here again. "

"This resort was a great choice for our honeymoon! The grounds were gorgeous, & there were trails where you could walk around the property & near the shore. The pools were very nice!! Just a bit cold lol but you got used to it. The water slide was fun too. We also loved the Holoholo Market that was there. They were great for a morning coffee or a light snack. Highly recommend this resort! "

"If not for the excellent location (walking distance to Kailua town, and the sunset views are spectacular), I would seriously consider staying somewhere else on my next trip (approx. every 3-5 years). The exorbitant resort fee is a ripoff, and to charge for self-parking ABOVE AND BEYOND the fee is almost criminal. Ho'okipa Hale in Kona: Wade Pool, Pacific Views & Stunning Sunsets

"We had 9 people including a toddler and the house is pleanty big enough. Very luxurious and clean. Lots of space both inside and out. parking is great. House has all the kitchen goodies plus sand toys for the kids stored in the garage. Great view of the Ocean, especially the sunset views. Overall a great place to stay. "

Perfect house for a family vacation

"We loved this house! This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house had really great amenities - snorkel gear and beach chairs and sunscreen, etc. The AC worked great and there was plenty of space for our group. The location was great, just a short drive from Magic Sands. My only complaint was that the 'pool' was VERY small (it looks bigger in the photos) and it was set to 102F when we arrived. It was a hot day and the kiddos couldn't swim, but we contacted the property manager and figured out how to turn it down. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely come back."

PRIVATE MODERN LUXURY, ARCHITECTURAL OCEANVIEW ESTATE, 5BR, 8000 SQ FT

Resort Vibes in a Beautiful Private Home

"I booked this beautiful VRBO for our family vacation because it had everything we were looking for - and MORE! This home is large enough, with 5 bedrooms, that we could all stay together. When we walked through the front door, we were immediately awe struck with the fantastic ocean view over the infinity pool. Absolutely stunning! We enjoyed this view everyday over morning coffees and evening sunsets. The windows, glass and openness of the floor plan of the home really enhances the feeling of "inside/outside" living. The living room sofas are large and welcoming, inviting you to sit and enjoy the beauty. As a family who enjoys cooking together, and the celebration of meals shared, we wanted a nice kitchen. This home provided what we needed (I was thankful for sharp knives!) - and there is a large dining table that accommodated all of us. We enjoyed the Jura coffee maker! I also loved that the "TV" room was separate from the living room. And with 2 outside "living areas"- one with a patio table and one with seating around a fire pit, there were lots of places for people to hang out. It is always nice to have a washer and dryer available, and the the hosts provided all the laundry and cleaning supplies that we could need while we enjoyed our vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hosts had set up corn-hole and a badminton net on the lawn area. We were impressed - and truly enjoyed our stay. The hosts are very thoughtful and provided so much for us - 5 stars!"

Perfect Rental

"This property was perfect for our family! It accommodated our 6 adults and two year old grandson. We felt very much at home during our 10 day stay. The location was central to downtown, beaches, and other adventures we wanted to explore. The house was in a neighborhood and had water views in the distance. We would definitely rent this property again!"
