Great place to stay.
The property was dated as was evident in the picture, but it was clean and functioned well for us. Good location and nice view of the ocean, even saw some whales one day. The pool deck and hot tub were wonderful.

What a view!
Can't beat the view off the lenai on this unit! Decently close to good food and beaches. Overall great stay.

Our family had two nights here when we arrived in Kona. Pool area was great to hang out. Condo was good size, just dated. Loved listening to the ocean from the balcony (though the street between condo and ocean can be busy). It was a great spot for us to hang out and have very quick access around town.

Good Value in a Great Location
Our stay was good. Had another place cancel on us last minute and ended up here. The unit is large and well equipped. Location is nice and the common areas of the property and really nice. Nothing wrong with the unit but the interior design is dated.

Great location
Awesome view and great location-airport,shopping, and dining all within easy driving distance. Good communication with the hosts and easy check in. We were able to walk across the road to watch surfers riding the waves and beaches were just a short distance away. While having dinner on the Magic Grill patio one evening, we were entertained by whale’s playing off shore. Thanks Kristi and Jim for sharing your condo with us.

I would give 10 stars if I could!
By far the best VRBO our family has rented! Super clean property, super white towels and sheets, property is nicer than the pictures. My teens picked this property because of the 80’s Hawaiian vibe and we loved it, so fun! Great location! The extras like the beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel fins, and games in the property made our trip! Thank you! We will be back!

Great Condo for a Family of 4
This condo is spacious and has a great layout and view. My 9 &4 year old grandsons swam in the pool everyday. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. There are some pool and beach toys available to use. Location is within 5-15 minute drive to several nice beaches and shopping villages. We had a lot of fun!

Great get away on Big Island
We enjoyed the location, hearing the ocean at night, using the grills several times. Definitely contact John to increase the temp of the hot tub. Loved that they had convenient recycling bins. Would stay in this location again.

Nice property great location
Although the pool was not available due to construction we had a great stay. The property is well located and the apartment has all the amenities you would need. The host communicated well with us and even provided a discount due to the pool not being available. Very comfortable home

Amazing experience the house has the necessary for us to stay included all toilet treats and liens and all necessary to cook amazing area the only inconvenience was the exit on Indian palms resort you can’t exit from all exits.

Great location and views from lanai, as described. A bit dated, but beds and sofas were comfortable. Did have some snorkels (2) and fins (1) but boogie boards were pretty beat up and 2 out of 3 were broken.

Just Right
We only had a few days in Kona and this spot was ideal. Seeing the ocean from the balcony was icing on the cake. While a couple of miles from the center of town, we enjoyed walking to nearby spots and it was kind of nice to have a spot away from the hustle and bustle. Everything was comfortable and clean. Mahalo!

Location is perfect
So cozy! Right across from the beach. I miss having coffee on the balcony and lidtening to the birds chirping, or petting random cats in the parking lot lol its a very comfortable place. The bed in the master is honestly more comfortable than the one i have at home. Very close to downtown. Parking spot is a little tight! Kristi was very communicative and friendly. We plan on coming back next year. Theres also a sign in book that you can see who stayed and what they did, great resource when youre trying to figure out local things to do.

Loved the balcony view. Clean and had beach toys/equipment. How long has the elevator been out of service ? We were very surprised about it and being on the fourth floor in my late 60's was challenging. I saw older people really struggling. Also construction like jack hammering started up down by the pond area at 7:30 in the morning.

Great views and pool area
We had a lovely stay at this property for three nights. While it is a bit dated (carpet throughout, cabinets, AstroTurf on balcony) this did not detract from our stay. Bathrooms are tiled ( a previous review mentioned carpet in bathroom but this has been updated). The pool area is very lovely and clearly newly revamped. We really enjoyed it! In retrospect, our family would have likely preferred a location within walking distance to restaurants. There is not much to walk to and you will need a car. Parking in the Kailua-Kona restaurant area is very challenging. The sunset views from the balcony are incredible. Hosts were lovely and communicative and kindly accommodated our request for a later check out. A great experience overall!

We were stunned when we entered the Condo. It’s like we flashed back to the 70’s. I am not sure what they consider upgraded. Everything seemed like old. The carpet was dirty. The tile in the bathrooms were cracked and had mold and the place looked like it had been painted by a child. Booked for four nights and stayed one night. No response from property manager and the owner said he had no involvement in the place and hung up on me. No refund. Out $1600!VRBO was no help either.

Our three day stay.
The condo was charming but needed some updating. There were not any dish rags and dish towels. There was only one kitchen hand towel. There was also no plastic wrap. There was mold in one ot the bath showers. We had no internet for almost all of the three days we were there. Therefore, we had no TV during that time. Plenty of beach toys were provided. The ocean view from the balcony was very nice. Having a covered parking spot for our rental car was also very nice. Would probably choose another place to stay.

Did see it had a lot of people write about the out dated furniture and flooring , but was surprised how bad it really was. Like a bad night mare from a 60 ‘s thrift store . The water had hardly any pressure. I wanted to take a bath but the plug in the tub wouldn’t shut . The bath tub off the hall was dirty. Door to the washer and dryer could barely open. I read that it had been updated. I assume their update is the 14 pieces of travertine in the master bath. They need to chalk the pieces on the tub , big gap under it with mold starting to grow . Vents were so full in master bath no air coming thru looked up full of lent and dirt . The beds were comfortable. I suggest that the host take a professional business course on customer service. Unless you change and really update the place and have a professional attitude to your customer service you will never become a super host . We had to leave because of the elevator being broken and not getting fixed for at least a month . We had people with us in their 80’s. Would not stay there again .
