"Okay for a quick budget friendly trip this place was solid. It is a little dated and definitely the bare necessities to sleep, shower and maybe just kock back and watch a movie . The bad reviews are dumb, because just like the people they bash they are also human. I definitely recommend this place for a lower budget trip where youre not there to live it up in the super cozy room. Pillows could be a little better that is my harshest criticism and it wasnt a deal breaker. So take what you want...

"It's located in a historical town, we often stacation, sing along with Mr Gene, and the local VFW is close as well, along with town shop for convenience items."

"It was a treat to stay at Jamaica House, hosted by Leonard and Dulce. The home is clean, comfortable and filled with thoughtful amenities. We loved having a French press and electric kettle available for morning coffee, plenty of fluffy towels and a hairdryer. All of the lighting is overhead; reading lamps were the only thing we missed!
