"I just like that it was quiet,nothing sketchy was going on,there are several walkable places to eat at as well as grocery(that's if you're not too lazy to walk to those but it's good to have it for people like me without a car).. I originally plan to stay two days but I stayed one more.. I like to get away sometimes from the family and do my own little small vacay away from them and I would suggest this place if you're in town"

"It was a very cozy home, right next to the ocean. Only downside was the hot water didn't last very long so the Jacuzzi wasn't really an option. Other then that it was well worth it"

"Myself, my kids and their spouses, my grandkids, 18 of us, had a wonderful time at the lodge. Plenty of room to spread out and big enough spaces to all come together. The house and grounds are beautiful, the pool and fishing pier were used daily. Close to Kemah and Galveston for a night out. When items needed to replaced it was done promptly and the host was quick to respond. Our trip was cut short by two days due to Hurricane Beryl, but we will be going back in the Fall."

"Beautiful property just as described! Mitzi is a very friendly and attentive host! Hubby and I felt like we were in our own oasis; very private! Also, great restaurants nearby. We ate at Topwater Grill Saturday night; good seafood minutes away. Use live bait for fishing! "
