"Lovely place with lovely people and great food "

"We enjoyed this hotel for the friendliness of the staff and a welcoming lobby and restaurant. We paid for the restaurant breakfast and found it delicious as well... basic hotel buffet food, but we liked everything but the orange juice. Family of four, with two teens. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the tv stations. Pool a bit too cold for us... probably about 78 degrees F. My main complaint is that the wallpaper was roughed up a bit in places and the furniture is a bit dated, ...

"The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. But our family room was over the laundry and at 6am they were draging metal trolleys in and out. Ans with a toddler this woke her after a late night traveling. The bathroom was dirty, The toilet had marks in it and there was thick dust behind the sink and sticky drip stains on the batbroom floor. Other than this the stay was nice. Breakfast was lovely. The pool and saunas were out of use which was disappointing. "

"The room was clean and spacious. Our dogs were very welcomed, although they were not allowed anywhere else in the hotel, not even the bar. We’re from Cornwall where dogs are welcome everywhere, bars, restaurants and shops. We were visiting family in the area so it provided us with a good base. We will stay here again on our next visit. "

"A very pleasant stay in a charming and comfortable hotel. Intimate but ultimately fully usable cardio gym and pool area. Couldn’t ask for more. Really nice breakfast too."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Decor and environment was superb but a little tired in places. Rooms were very hot. Spa was too busy to use when wanted. "

"The hotel is split into several houses. I stayed in the one with the restaurant. . The staff, the room, the food and the swimming pools were excellent. I’ll be back! "
