"One of the best places to stay with a dog. Staff are very dog friendly and the property is quite large to walk your dog around so it's very convenient. The rooms also have a good sized bath so it was excellent! "

"The room is small but comfortable and welcoming. It has a nice bed and bathroom However, It is an old building and you can hear the noise from other rooms so not very relaxing or private to hang out in. The self check in means you see no staff but the pub staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything. Located a 10 min walk from Knepp wilding project so convenient for us. "

"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"What a gem of a place.. great location, great communication, clean comfortable rooms and a brilliant breakfast. We would definitely return and maybe spend longer as it is perfectly situated for exploring the area. We were here for the Goodwood Members Meeting and it was only about 30 minutes drive. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay."
