"I booked on Expedia 11/09/22 for $2,053 for 3 nights. I had the confirmation email, showed them it and they still charged me $2,441. They said it was canceled and rebooked on Expedia for the higher price on the same day. I have no emails regarding a cancellation or a rebooking and it makes zero sense why I would rebook my trip for $400 MORE on the same day. Had to pay it and not happy about it. "This is a lovely resort. It is rustic but that adds to its charm. The staff are friendly, the room is huge, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom/shower is somewhat modern. The beach is stunning and although there are a lot of guests, the resort is large enough that it doesn’t feel crowded. I don’t understand the nasty reviews I’ve read. This isn’t the Four Seasons. The attitude of some reviewers is embarrassing. "
