"This cabin is nestled on the side of Ski Mtn. It has a big acorn tree on each side of its fabulous back deck. You can see the worn path underneath the trees showing it is used daily. We saw 2 sets of female bears & each had 3 cubs. Also 2 or 3 random lone bears foraging under the oak trees daily. The Ober Mtn lodge ski lodge can be seen below the deck & it’s fun to watch the zip line activity & the lighted cable cars & night,,, well it ‘s amazing! This cabin is perfection inside. "Lots of space in an excellent location close to the river. Comfortable beds and clean linens. We had a small dog and this was a good option for that situation. Somewhat dated fixtures. Fridge was a bonus but the Keurig did not work correctly. You have to order your replacement towels and other items for either delivery within a certain time or for pick up at the front desk. Not exactly convenient."

"We love staying here because it is right on the Gatlinburg strip so we can walk everywhere. It is also a very low price for the location. It is not fancy but it has all the basic amenities and is always clean when we stay. If you are wanting a simple affordable room this place is the way to go! "
