"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...

"This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. We had a family room which had an upstairs with a king bed and downstairs there were two twin beds for the kids. Lots of good food options near by. Only negative was that the breakfast provided by the hotel wasn’t great in terms of quality or quantity of...

"First, our hosts, Annibale and Cristina were lovely, and extremely helpful and communicative before booking and in the months leading up to our stay. Visiting for a wedding, upon arrival, they made appointments for our wives at a nearby hair salon! The one-floor villa is spacious, with two large, updated bathrooms, functional kitchen, tile floors, comfortable beds, lots of dresser and armoire space for clothes, and as advertised, is mostly handicap accessible (one step up).
