"This is one of the best stays we have enjoyed in a hotel. Everything was amazing and we felt so relaxed. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. We had intended to eat out but ended up enjoying our meals in the hotel. It is exceptionally clean and well presented with attention to detail. The riverside walk into Oxford is a bonus. "Our room in the square block (we’d seen the unnecessary negative reviews before we’d arrived) behind the pretty white main house, came as a very pleasant surprise. The room was newly furnished, to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Positive feedback….great for one night, but a little more storage or even a couple more wall hooks to pop coats and hang towels etc are needed.
