"Lovely hotel with friendly staff. I would definitely stay again but maybe not choose the breakfast as an add on as wasnt to my taste/ standard. Lots to see and do around.room was lovely and although we were next to kitchen vent/ extractor fan it didn't keep us awake. Would recommend!! "

"We stayed off away from the main build; our room was nice, nothing fancy, but comfortable; fan was provided. The main building is definitely the star of the show. I was surprised to find no lift; due to one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was because it mentioned there was a lift, not a deal breaker though. "The hotel was in a good position for Ripon’s attractions ie the cathedral and the old town with its cafes and eating facilities. The rooms were fresh looking and away from the pub in a separate stable block and were self contained but as the property had just been taken over and the pub itself was being refurbished I can’t comment on the food etc ."

"Lovely village pub perfect location for us to visit fountains Abbey rooms were comfortable and lovely and warm its basic but thats all part of the charm of this lovely old pub breakfast was an extra £10 each but was delicious and plenty of it the landlord made sure we were well looked after and had everything we wanted.we had a few drinks in the bar and there was plenty of choice and it was nice and cosy area to catch up with friends. Would stay again."

"I arrived mid-morning, knowing that check-in was not until 4.00pm. Despite this, they allowed me to park my car in their car park so that I could go off on a hike along the coastal path. Later, when I checked in and was shown to a room, they let me switch to a room with a bath, which I need for medical reasons. This was much appreciated, as were the evening meal and breakfast which were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in."
