"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"Excellent attentive service from the owner Joe at all times nothing was too much trouble and a few minor issues were rectified immediately to our full satisfaction Would highly recommend The Meltham Guest House if you are looking to stay adjacent to the North Bay close to all the attactions that it has to offer Will definitely be staying again and myself and Jeff would personally like to wish Joe every success for the future Many thanks for a perfect stay between Christmas 2024 and New Year "

"We had a friendly welcome from Tess, were given our keys to our room. We had room 2 which was a decent size with lovely fleece bedding. The shower was perfect, could do with a shelf for shower gel etc and a few hooks for clothes/ towels. We didn't have breakfast. It's a 15 minute stroll to the town centre with lovely views on route , would definitely recommend. "

"Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...

"Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem."

"I was a lone traveller . Staying at the Belmont was perfect for me. Compact room with nice shower Tv and fridge . Bed was comfy I received text from the owner asking if everything was ok and can turn the fridge off if i was a light sleeper. It was close to conference centre which i was attending. Would use the Belmont for future visits. "

"Been here 3/4 times, and looking forward to next stay. Food is really good. Service is excellent. Only issue this time was someone clearly had too much to drink in the village and people were shouting in the early hours of the morning. This woke me and i struggled to get back to sleep, but nothing to do with the inn."

"Very cozy for a solo traveller. I like it when BnB's cater for them in that the room was no bigger than it needed to be and bathroom had shower/bath. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit buffet with a big selection of berries, cereals and some ham and cheese. As well as this they offer fresh cooked full English and other things you would get at a restaurant. Finally the home made jams were great. I'd be taking some back if I wasn't flying with just hand luggage. Communal lounge area was...
