"Upon arrival, the hotel did not have my reservation at hand and seemed to have trouble locating it at first. I paid and went to my room. It stank of cigarettes. I went back downstairs to see why I wasn't in a no-smoking room as requested. The hotel said it was only a request and they did not have any rooms wih two beds that are no smoking. 1. "I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"
