"The stay here was good. I like the convenience of everything being in one place. Great family environment. I didn't like that I around 20 minutes before check in and was told if i didn't wait until 4 a 25 dollar fee would be added to my bill. Wow for 20 mins???? The pull out bed had crumbs on mattress but other than those two things, i was very pleased. I will definitely book again"

"The outside appearance and the lobby was very warm and inviting. The sitting area and bar area in the Lobby were decorated nicely. The staff were welcoming and very kind. I did pick the room with upgrade listed on Expedia and paid a little more for the upgrade but I am not sure what the upgrade was. I did not like my room very much. "When we arrived to check in It was a little worrisome that the the front door of the hotel was locked and the phone # on the door was disconnected. Fortunately the 2nd phone number listed was answered and the mgr let us in. She was very nice and helpful. The room needed new carpet and another trash can near the desk(there was only 1 in the bathroom) but other than that our room was fine. There was a nice seating area just outside in the large porch. "Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "
