"This hotel was set in an out of way area in Rovaniemi. It was worth it to be surrounded by a lovely forest. The rooms each has a personal sauna which was the reason we chose the hotel. "Check in closes at 10.00.p.m. at a major tourist area. The plane with tourists from the capital, Helsinki, does not arrive at the closest airfield until 10.30.p.m. They need to consider this. The afterhours lockbox is situated outside. It was minus 25 Celsius and dark when we arrived. The lockboxes inside need two fingers for the metal buttons on either side. I still have peeling finger skin two weeks later from having to touch them. The lockbox should be situated in an inside lobby - very poor....
