"Stayed in an economy single. Not much space, dated, but sufficiently clean, bed was comfortable, hot water worked well. I would put it on par with a private room at a hostel. Not much in the immediate area, but also not that far from a lot of stuff. There’s a little shop almost directly across the street for snacks and water, guy was fair, not trying to scam you (about 10 EGP for a 1.5L water). "We enjoyed two nights at the Sonesta Hotel. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The hotel is in a good location to get to and from the airport.
