"Just back from another relaxing stay at Flackley Ash. The staff are friendly and it’s good to see some familiar faces. I’m glad they have a small step they can bring out, as the last step into the building is rather steep. Esp if you have joint problems. "

"It was a Victorian hotel so don’t expect ultra modern but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff, particularly the gentleman in reception was just so helpful all the time. The hotel was preparing for Christmas so had a lovely atmosphere. There was entertainment and an enormous dining area and all overlooking the sea."

The rooms themselves were medium sized and had a shared balcony area above the first floor, and as I have been to Eastbourne countless times at many hotels I would put this definitely in the upper ranks compared to all others.
