"Room was fine. Only thing I had an issue with was the heating turning itself on. I didn't want the heating on due to it triggering my asthma. Found a way to turn it off though eventually so all was good! It would have been better if there was controllable air conditioning as I was a little concerned from a safety point of view sleeping with the window open as a lone female on the ground floor. "

We did have a hiccup at the start which was completely out of the host's control and Mark was absolutley brilliant in sorting us out. The accommodation is lovely and Mark is very attentive. "We stayed at the Buttercups Lodge. It was a very comfortable stay and also very serene and peaceful. The location of the lodge is ideal for a family or couple who want to go exploring different parts of Devon and also a drive to Cornwall. The lodge has everything you need and the view of Dartmoor is absolutely breathtaking from it. Andrew and Sally were brilliant hosts and kept in communication with us whenever we needed it. "Very good stay in a comfortable hotel. Service was great. Couple of things - I felt the dinner menu could be a little more extensive, the check out time of 10 am is a little early. But generally a great stay. Ps I should have mentioned this at check out but the sink plug in room 102 sticks closed 😎"
