"Great hotel, warm welcome from the lady at reception. Breakfast great, thanks to the chef for being a waiter and the cook! Use of the leisure facilities in sister hotel was great but construction work being undertaken so some areas out of bounds. (Sunday Dinner there was amazing!) Thank you! "

"The room was amazing, super comfortable and had all amenities. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating of additional requests (we wanted to keep our bags at the hotel after checkout for a few hours) and they arranged everything. The location was great, with buses running from in front of the hotel and a row of restaurants right down the road. The lake is within walking distance as well. Will definitely return :)"

"The only problem I see to this hotel is the lack of its own car park,you need to use a public one. Every thing else wonderful......the people the food the communications. The National Express Coach if, like me you needed transport picks you up in the main street 5 mins from Allerdale. At the same stop are regular buses to Keswick and Penrith. I had a great time."
