"Overall a pretty good experience. Room a little noisy, seals around windows need replaced. As we were main road side of hotel traffic noise from N60 was quite intrusive. Staff generally friendly although more attentive reception staff would have made a big difference ( with exception of bin in bathroom not being emptied prior to letting room) , other than that very clean accommodation and great location. "

"Staff Reception and Management were all fantastic! Our stay was at a time just after the major storm but nothing was too much. I had flown in from Portugal but the stories I heard from local people who the hotel had looked after during this awful time was amazing. Well done The Ellison. "Was moved to a room that had better Wi-Fi coverage, a minor inconvenience but the staff were always most helpful. Everything else was very comfortable. Particularly enjoyed the swimming pool.. Had breakfast and a couple of evening meals which were a good standard. In the evenings the staff were faultless and I enjoyed the comfort with a pint of Guinness. Many thanks, I stayed for four nights and would recommend this hotel. Ron Sweeney."
