"Staff Reception and Management were all fantastic! Our stay was at a time just after the major storm but nothing was too much. I had flown in from Portugal but the stories I heard from local people who the hotel had looked after during this awful time was amazing. Well done The Ellison. "We ended up staying in Hotel Newport at very short notice. Staff were lovely and although rooms were dated, they were clean. Did not spot the kettle the first night so was disappointed by that as I thought there was none. However, the cupboard that contained the tea/coffee etc was pointed out to me the next day - would have preferred it's location to be more obvious. Cooked breakfast choice was excellent and the food served was good quality. Unexpectedly got to join the town's Nephin Beggers...
