"First, from the moment we arrived, the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Front desk staff assisted us a few times with excursion information. Wait staff in the restaurant were attentive, and the bartender, Andre, learned our names on day 1 and greeted us every day. The food was delicious and varied every day. Our room was very spacious and clean. On one occasion our A/C stopped, and we were immediately given a new portable unit to get us through. The views of the ocean across the street were incredible. A definite hidden gem!"

"Staff at the Almond Tree restaurant was amazing. We had breakfast and lunch there everyday. The food was very good. The hotel is old but very clean and everything is in working order. Our ocean view room was fantastic. The location of the hotel was great as well. It would be nice if the resort got a bit of an upgrade."

"The stay was quite enjoyable. The front staff was instrumental in getting me the coo coo that I wanted. Dawn Mare was always very pleasant. Everyone worked together to make our stay a pleasant one."

"It was super close to everywhere, rockley beach is a 2 mins walk from the hotel, kfc, a gas station with Burger King and a mall is also a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The staffs were supper nice and helpful, room service came daily and the rooms were always kept clean. The food in the hotel were pretty expensive tho but every other thing was perfect."

"I stayed in a room at the front of the property and mornings were peaceful on the porch watching the ocean across the street and all the locals who saw me spoke and had conversations with me like I wasn't a stranger. I loved the pudding and souse on Saturday from the restaurant. "
