Nearby is a fun walk to a waterfall, a small town to wander, and a longer hike to other beaches. "

"If you truly want to get away, this is the place. Don’t expect nightlife or very much of a day-life outside hiking to the waterfall or sitting on the beach. For me, that was just enough! The room/hut we were in also had a really bad smell of mold though I didn’t see any. Awesome staff and the breakfast overlooking the ocean was worth it."

We flew into PV and the hotel arranged a taxi to boca, where a panga was waiting for us. Abbey was our panga driver whenever he needed us (for an extra fee) and he was great. Once we got to playa caballo, they took our luggage and we walked from las animas to the hotel where we met Juan Carlos, the fantastic Manager. They greeted us with cocktails and we checked into...

"We went in the summer, super quiet and peaceful and safe. If you like something non commercial this is the place to go. Better if you like animals and speak a little Spanish. And most important bring cash money there are no ATM machines, Lagunita restaurant take credit cards. Very nice place😊"
