"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

"This property is actually part of Jaguar Reef (a total of 3 resorts) with 2 pools, multiple bars, food options and the amazing dock bar. We had such a fantastic time here. It was relaxing, but also there are plenty of activity options to book if you want to fill your day. Our room was top notch and felt luxurious. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. "This resort was amazing. The pools were crystal clear and we had a private pool most of our stay. The staff spoiled us. It isn't totally modern, but had everything we needed. Cobblestone paths and tiled pools. It was just the right amount of rustic and comfort. The tile could be a bit slippery, so bring water shoes. Hibiscus flowers everywhere. "It was a smaller place which was nice. We felt like we had the pool to ourselves. Staff was so friendly and wonderful. Easily accessible with the golf cart to ride to town and restaurants. Felt safe. Could not swim in the ocean at this place no beach area. "
