The hotel was very nice, but right on a major thoroughfare. The surrounding area was not conducive to walking, and we were unable to walk to the waterfront even though it was quite close

Always a nice stay in Best Western Belize. My only complaint is that I paid roundtrip to a restaurant. I didn't use the return and tried to have options for a refund of that amount, like with snacks. Maybe is snacks was separate business, maybe the restaurant, but nothing. It is something small but those small things after you spent many times that amount that doesn't sit well.

Got in too late to go anywhere from the airport so stayed here one night. Very pretty interior courtyard with a pool, they have a restaurant and a bar in the interior courtyard, plus a coffee shop & wine shop in the front area. It's only a few minutes (10-15) from the airport and a great place to stay if you need to stay the night before coming or going to BZE airport. They also have an airport shuttle instead of taking a taxi. Just make arrangements ahead of time.

Probably the best hotel that’s nearest to the airport. That is why we stayed there. They had music playing loudly before 6 AM in the morning that woke us up. Only stayed here for the airport.

I booked my room months in advance. My husband and I traveled with our friends and we were celebrating our 25th anniversary with 9 days in Belize. Our stay here was on the first leg of our trip. When we arrived, there was a line at the desk. Our flight crew was actually behind us. Two staff member. Two computers. They were both using the same computer. When it was our turn, my friend told me to go ahead. I checked in. The lady at the desk didn't state what kind of room I had been assigned (my bad, I didn't check). My husband and I got to our room - two double beds but I had booked one King! I went to the bathroom and the toilet was running and running. Then I tried to flush it and nothing. I went to call the front desk to let them know of the bed error and the toilet situation but the phone was broken. So I headed back up to the front desk. Passed our friends on the way and they were getting settled in their lovely king bed room. (remember, my friend let me go ahead of her). I got up to the desk and let the gentleman know my problem and asked to be moved to the King room that I had reserved. He said there were non left! We had to stay in the double bed room then they graciously moved us to THE NOISIEST King room for our second night. They did decorate it with rose petals for our anniversary but the room was still missing a safe and the phone in this room was also broken. Sadly it was an overall disappointing experience.
