"This place is fantastic! The room was big and super nice, with a view of the snowy forest. It was exceptionally clean. The highlight of the experience was the onsen. The grand bath is huge, and the views from it are incredible. Overlooking beautiful trees and hell valley from the onsens. There were 7 indoor baths for both male and female (different minerals and temperatures). And then 4 outdoor baths for females and 5 or 6 outdoor baths for males. There are also two types of sauna and cold water bath. You can sit in a hot outdoor bath, looking out at the snow and drink sake from a floating tray. The scale of the grand bath is just mind blowing. We spent hours there and really felt the benefits. Muscles got relaxed, skin felt soft and healed, circulation improved. Overall amazing! We stayed two nights and wished we could stay there longer."

"Huge resort, very spacious and really excellent buffet spread. The onsen is great, easy parking, and it's close to the highway hence easy to get anywhere. Getting out to the nice restaurants requires only a short drive downtown. The rooms ans facilities are a bit old and dated but it is good value."

"Very big hotel with open calm spaces to relax and enjoy music and a buffet of coffee tea and small snacks - felt like I could really unwind. Just a small note that English is not a language the staff speaks, so need to brush up on a little Japanese or rely on those Google translators ! But all are eager to please, and it’s a pleasure to experience the politeness and customer care of their culture. Their dinners are very authentic and delicious. Onsens are wonderful with very clean atmosphere."

"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "

"One of the best hotel I ever stayed Room: Larger than the normal you would find in the city. View: We got the wonderful lake view and we can't be more happy with the beauty in winter. Bed/Pillow/Duvet: they are all soft, comfortable Onsen (Roof top): the most beautiful view you can get for the outdoor with 2 round tub. There is also a small cold bath and a sauna. Spacious onsen and plenty of showers ensure its not crowded. Indoor onsen temperature is hotter than outdoor. Onsen (Basement): An outdoor and an indoor with sauna. Outdoor onsen temperature is hotter than indoor. A beautiful garden right in front of the outdoor. Dining hall: Overseeing the lake and snow in winter. Food: I had the breakfast and its has great mix of traditional Japanese and western delights. Food was great as a whole. Lobby: there is a large resting area with books for you to relax and read.
