"The 5 kids had a great time in the snow. So many sledding areas on and near the property. The open living space accommodated our 11 family members comfortably. And the cabin was will supplied. Great family weekend.The unavailability to the cabin by 4 wheel vehicles should be at the top of the site since Bear Valley Village is the only snowbound community in California. A flat griddle would have been nice for pancakes."

"The condo was perfect for our trip. Three levels kept the kids entertained. It was fully stocked for cooking, firewood for the wood stove, comfortable beds. Our host Raj was very responsive. It was a great experience in all aspects. and helpful. It was aedlall around"

"This was a great house for 2 families to stay in (4 adults, 4 kids) for Leland Snowplay. Was 5 minute walk away so we could go tubing, come back for lunch at the house, then go back to tubing. Kids had a great time playing in the yard too. House was clean and description is spot on. The host responded to my questions immediately and was super helpful. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals for our large group. The downstairs bedrooms were a little cold though - the wall heaters didn’t heat them up very much so we had to use a lot of extra blankets. The rest of the house was super toasty warm though :). Would rent there again!"

"Three of us spent happy days & nights in this small cabin. Away from the highway in a sylvan development, the spot is a three-minute walk from gorgeous woods and granite outcrops. We stayed in late January, when few of the nearby cabins are occupied and the walk down to the cabin from the road is pretty icy. The cabin is one large room on the ground floor (it combines a kitchen and living room, a bit like a studio apartment) with a narrow staircase leading to a sleeping area (three beds, one with folding doors to screen it) above. There’s a deck facing north off the main room. The beds have comfortable foam mattresses and nice bedding. The kitchen has a good four-burner gas stove, nice refrigerator, a small microwave oven, a toaster, a blender, a small food processor that worked as a spice grinder, an electric water kettle, a coffee machine we didn’t use, and what looked like an electric slow cooker. Good skillets and pots. There’s a record player! And a fireplace with plenty of wood. The nearest store is up the road a few miles at Bear Valley Resort. Thank you to the gracious owner, who replied promptly and considerately to questions."
