"We greatly enjoyed the house and close proximity to Bear Valley Ski Resort. We have young kids so we needed a close place in the event we had meltdowns at the slopes and needed to go back early. This was perfect. Lots of space and outdoor areas to explore far enough away from the highway. It's a short hike up to the house but just reframe as a workout and it does the trick. We'll definitely stay here again."

"Great location and the property is well thought out, clean, and comfortable. Would appreciate a bit more soundproofing in upstairs bedroom that is over the kitchen, but kids tired enough after a day in the snow to not care too much. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a hardy meal after a fun ski day."

"This was a great house for 2 families to stay in (4 adults, 4 kids) for Leland Snowplay. Was 5 minute walk away so we could go tubing, come back for lunch at the house, then go back to tubing. Kids had a great time playing in the yard too. House was clean and description is spot on. The host responded to my questions immediately and was super helpful. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals for our large group. The downstairs bedrooms were a little cold though - the wall heaters didn’t heat them up very much so we had to use a lot of extra blankets. The rest of the house was super toasty warm though :). Would rent there again!"

"We came with my teenaged son and daughter and two of their friends for my son's 18birthday for some time in the snow. Even though it rained, the cabin was so warm and cozy. Quick and easy check-in was convenient after sloshing around in the slush. Each room so uniquely designed. So pretty to wake up with the sounds of the river. Wish we could've had more time!"

"Three of us spent happy days & nights in this small cabin. Away from the highway in a sylvan development, the spot is a three-minute walk from gorgeous woods and granite outcrops. We stayed in late January, when few of the nearby cabins are occupied and the walk down to the cabin from the road is pretty icy. The cabin is one large room on the ground floor (it combines a kitchen and living room, a bit like a studio apartment) with a narrow staircase leading to a sleeping area (three beds, one with folding doors to screen it) above. There’s a deck facing north off the main room. The beds have comfortable foam mattresses and nice bedding. The kitchen has a good four-burner gas stove, nice refrigerator, a small microwave oven, a toaster, a blender, a small food processor that worked as a spice grinder, an electric water kettle, a coffee machine we didn’t use, and what looked like an electric slow cooker. Good skillets and pots. There’s a record player! And a fireplace with plenty of wood. The nearest store is up the road a few miles at Bear Valley Resort.
