The location is just right— a beautiful mountain escape and close to the adorable town of Lansing with an awesome cidery (Molley Chompers— highly recommended), a few restaurants and shops. "We stayed for just on night. The cabin was nice, it's a nice old cabin, floors were squeaky and loud, but I guess that added to the charm. The only complaint is the twin beds were as hard as a rock, felt like laying on plywood. Seeing the devastation in the area was also heartbreaking. The location was perfect for us to enjoy our family in Grassy Creek."

"We really were so happy with our choice to stay here. This cottage is adorable, clean, and cozy. It had all the kitchen items we needed/wanted. The bed was comfortable for us (and we are picky!) It's such an easy walk to downtown, even in the snow! We enjoyed the hot tub as the snow fell and the wind howled on Friday afternoon (the tub temp was perfect!) Yes, there is a house right next door, but with the tall privacy fence, it was not a big deal to us at all...even when we were in the hot...

"Our cabin was as it was described. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. We brought a crockpot and were surprised to see that one was actually provided. The beds were very comfortable. The location seems remote but it's only a 20 minute drive to Boone primarily due to the long, climbing road. The road going to the cabin has a few potholes but was easy to navigate in the daylight. The stream behind the cabin was a nice addition. It was a very peaceful and comfortable...
